Rone (Live) on Oct 24th

We’re back again on Fri Oct 24th, with our new Parisian friend headlining the night - filmmaker, dj and producer: Rone. With a sound that could easily be confused as so very Border Community and typically Dial, this young Parisian is heading skyward with his own brand of live melodic experimental electronica. His first 12″ - Bora - released earlier this year on Parisian label InFiné (think Apparat, Danton Eeprom…) has made it’s way into the record bags of Ellen Allien, Laurent Garnier, Lawrence, Ripperton, James Holden and Sebo K among others, and has featured on mix CDs the world over. Now that’s a recommendation to me! Erwan also tells me he is releasing his first album soon, and the live set on the 24th will be a new one 
This gig sees us reach our first anniversary of upfront electronic music, hosting acts such as Chymera, Donnacha Costello, Format:B, Sian, Fairmont, Yapacc, Pantha du Prince and Daso and (we hope) helping electronic music along a bit in Galway.
Warmup is from LowerState bleep-maestro Audiofeen and kicks off at 10.30pm with doors €10. This is our last gig before Christmas - not to be missed !
